Joseph passed away at age 49 in Ogden, UT.

Joseph Hickman Cook was a loving husband and father. He and his wife taught their four boys integrity and the importance of family. He was a good man with solid character and a strong work ethic. He tragically died from the diseases of addiction and depression in a way that no person should have to die. We — his wife and sons and all of our children and grandchildren — are honored to carry on his legacy, and grateful that his story gives us the strength and humility to rise above our own struggles and help others rise above theirs. We will love him and miss him for eternity.
